Unmarshal’s COVID-19 Response

As the situation in India with regards to COVID-19 worsens, the safety and wellbeing of our employees will continue to remain our top priority

Dear #MARSHians,

As a deadlier second wave of COVID-19 engulfs India, workplaces and employees around the country have been in deep distress. With more than 400,000+ new daily cases of coronavirus infections, India is currently witnessing a surge in Coronavirus infections. A double mutated strain of the virus is believed to have initiated the second surge of the illness in India.

A majority of Unmarshal’s staff is based in India and unfortunately, a few of our colleagues and their family members have been victims of this second wave. It’s very saddening as we witness the impact on friends and co-workers.

In view of the situation, we’ve taken few requisite steps. For the well-being of our employees:

• Mandatory work-from-home has been declared since past one month.
• A stipend is provided to purchase additional equipment to ensure a comfortable remote workspace.
• Immediate PTO approval in case of any emergency.

Also, we would like to enable all our employees to combat the pandemic with necessary precautions in line with the guidelines issued by the government. We’re extending our hand to all employees who prefer to avail vaccines.

In view of the above quote, we are indeed proud of our employees that even during these unprecedented times, they have shown courage and commitment towards the common goal. Despite the operational disruptions, our colleagues have responded to the calls for support from our partners and clients to quickly acknowledge and resolve issues.
